where in Phuket Town is a small fruit market? I remember it was very cheap there.

Fruit market in Town Fruits and vegetables are not expensive. Here, perhaps, the best prices for fruits and vegetables in Phuket. The market is officially open from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. But you can come in the evening. Pineapples for 20-35 baht, papaya for 30-40, yellow mangoes for 50-90 baht, durian (unpeeled) for 150฿ per kg.
