Please tell me, is it possible to rent a car in Phuket and leave it in Bangkok? Are there any companies that do that?

Yes, you can. For 2023, however, I will not be able to give examples. But in June 2016 we flew to Bangkok, took a Hilux, before then I seemed to book through expedia. And we drove south. A couple of overnight stays were on the way, then Phuket, Krabi. Handed over at Krabi airport. And they flew from there to KL. Some kind of route)
