Can I pay for a room in Phuket from someone else's booking card? Will there be any problems when checking in?

If you take it for a couple of days, and then you pay on the spot with this card, some hotels, had experience, force you to cancel the transaction and pay with the card on which your name is named. So it's worth taking it at once for the entire period.
