According to Thai law, smoking a hookah or vape or other electronic nicotine consumption systems other than cigarettes, such as Iqos, is equivalent to drug use and is punishable by a fine of up to 100,000 baht and/or imprisonment for up to a year. Accordingly, the sale of all this in Thailand is officially prohibited, as well as the transportation of all this to the territory of Thailand. When checking luggage at the airport, all this will be seized by customs officers, if found. Just keep that in mind when you're going to the island with a set of liquids/batteries/tobacco.
