Are there any normal hotels at Bangkok airport? Are there duty free shops at 4 a.m., all sorts of Prada and the like?

There is no right at the airport, it's still possible to take a minibus. The nearest is Novotel, but we have already traveled further away - 10 minutes from the airport and back As for the second, I think that most likely not.
