You can study Pattaya itself, markets, observation decks ... There are no particular waterfalls and parks around. There are two good beaches outside the city - sai keo and nang ram (military and dancing girls), there is a cool mountain with Buddha khao chichan, behind it are vineyards and a scenic road. There is a Maprachan lake. You can go to the Khao Kheow Zoo, but it's not quite close. Maybe someone will add.
