[Phuket] I'm going to Phuket in November. Do I need to book a hotel for the whole month or can, for example, for a week and pick up something decent and affordable on the spot? 208728,2,You won't get to Reilly by car. Only to Ao Nang or Krabi Town and further by boat. Speedboats should be looked at directly on the pier or there may be a schedule at the airport. Part goes through Phi Phi with a transfer." - Thailand

If you come in November, you can still be at home somewhere in October to look at options and schedule viewings for the first 2-3 days of your stay, so that you can immediately have a plan for what to watch.

You book a hotel remotely for a few days, and upon arrival you take a motorbike and look for hotels and condos on the spot. There are many inexpensive and good offers from locals on the market. You can stupidly walk down the street and go to every hotel with Rent room signs and ask.

You can look at hotels and read reviews on Booking, then come to it on the spot. Offers on the street look doubtful.

Booking one hotel on the same beach for a month depends on tastes, but I think it's a bad idea. It won't be difficult to find something else on the spot.

That's what they advise.
