Go with a company or on your own. A company, for example, SamuiVisaRun. Independently by any type of transport to the border by land alone or with fellow travelers. Or through a flight to another country (expensive). Overstay is paid at the border. They can take on the road or there - then a fine and deportation and a ban on entry for a year (depending on the overstay)
