What is the cheapest way to go to the borderrun from Phangan?

If you know how to get on your own, then on the spot there is 1300 baht is a borderrun. Friends go to them, it costs them around 2 thousand. Ferry, bus/hitchhiking to the border and back.

To go to the border and back. But it will be cheaper only from 5+ people But I advise you not to experiment.
