Please tell me which beach in Phuket is better to choose for a holiday in May? I want to swim without strong mud and waves and so that the market and shops are not very far away.

Karon Beach, I was on many, this one was chosen more, there are shops and cafes. The last time we were at the ibis hotel on Kat, a fairly decent hotel and the location is good, and it is convenient to go to Kate Beach and Karon Beach.

Whatever you are advised now, still go to the most common among tourists - the east coast from Kata Noi to Bang Tao. Waves are likely to be everywhere (variablely). There's no dirt.
