I had $ 2500 in different bills (all for $ 100 and all of different years) 1 piece even 96g, so I could not change them in Malaysia, the Philippines and Dubai ... I flew to Phuket and in the very first exchanger everything was accepted! I don't know if I was lucky or not, but I got rid of old banknotes only in Phuket!

I don't know from the date. But it depends on the bill. The most profitable is 100 Usd bills. And at the airport, change at a minimum - it's not profitable.
