We always take light jackets with us. Once we flew back to Moscow at the end of January at -25. And we were dropped off the plane on a bus and then taken for about 10 minutes. And some people (not really smart, I think) were wearing flip-flops and T-shirts.

My husband was checking in his luggage. I'm with me, but I have a unique jacket, it's not replaceable on trips.

We also fly from Moscow In a sweatshirt If you take a taxi from home to the airport - it will be great in general If you freeze a little - drink a strong drink.

I can't tell you here anymore - we fly in light down jackets - we put them in a backpack without any problems.
