Tell me, is it really possible to stomp on foot from Chalong to Kata / Karon? It's only 6km there, but how does the road itself feel? I'm still afraid of Baikov.

We made such a mistake in '19. Let's go from Patong to Karon. There are no sidewalks on the roads and there are no roadsides. And also mountains. Even 2 km will seem like hell. Don't take any chances. Take a scooter.
