It is allowed to import the following amounts in cash: Local currency (Bath / THB): up to 50,000 baht per person or 100,000 baht per family. Foreign currencies: unlimited. However, amounts of foreign currency in excess of 20,000 US dollars (in equivalent) must be declared at customs.

As far as I remember, up to 20k bucks or equivalent. On the other hand, how much will you be allowed to take it out of your country.
