There are a lot of things on Chaweng Beach, but... in the north it has nuances in the form of stones and shallow water, Lamai is finer and more viscous sand, Bo phut is the sand is larger and more yellow) But I would choose according to the temperament of life on these beaches: chaweng is a maximum of parties, cafes and restaurants. There is an obvious bias towards the movement. Bophut is the lightest, but also good food and evening bars. Lamai is something in between. Addendum: Lamai is not a shallow beach, but on the contrary in some places immediately deep) But the sand is finer and more viscous.

On Chaweng, the sand is soft and quite clean, but there is not as much movement as on Bo Phut, as it turned out. It is Chaweng that is considered the most beautiful, not counting the wild beaches without infrastructure. I can't tell you about the hotel, we live in an apartment.

We are resting in the First Bungalow on Chaweng Noi. Everything is fine - a nice almost closed beach, clear sea, a normal hotel.
