Tell me, is there a place not far from Big Buddha where elephants are not mocked, but you can just look at them, maybe wash them? If so, where, and how much?

We were at Chalong Elephant Retirement. Without chains, from what we saw, elephants are treated well. Just feed - 1000 baht per person, there is an option to wash (we did not take, the child and feeding was more than enough, this is almost an hour story) - it seems in the region of 3-3.5 thousand per person. It is better to book in advance on the website, on the spot it can wait a long time when they let you in with some group.

There are 2 places there, in one to wash, in the other to feed, but whether they mock there or not, the elephants did not say, but there were no chains.
