Very beautiful historical center of the island (georgetown town), there is a Chinatown (of course) and an Indian one. Go to the observation deck in the skyscraper, 68th floor, very impressive, there is still a floor transparent in places. Kids will love the museum upside down. We really liked the mountain, where the ascent is on the funicular, upstairs is cool and you can spend the whole day. Botanical garden, butterfly garden, etc. This is all relatively closer to the historical center of the city. Yes, the tower with 68 floors still has an entertainment center for children, very large, and a dinosaur park.

We were hanging out in Penang for a week. It's cool, there's a lot to see. But everything is expensive, keep in mind. Beer is 2 times more expensive, for example. Food in resttics too, so look for food courts. I didn't like the sea, by the way, we are more picturesque.

If you're through Sungai Kolok and Kota Baru, then the Musthav perhentian Islands and Redang Island. If on the other hand, then Penang and the island of Langkawi (recently someone moved there from Koh Samui and wrote that fire).
