The agency said that for a trip to Cambodia you need a stamp at least 2 weeks before the end to return. Otherwise, they may not be allowed. Why?

Perhaps they meant to issue a visa on return to Thailand from Cambodia: if the Thai stamp is valid for more than 5 days at the time of departure to Cambodia, then you will simply be put a new stamp, but without extension (the old stamp remains valid); if the validity of the stamp comes to an end (less than 5 days left), then you will cancel the old one and make a new stamp with a new date - the price depends on this, each of these stamps is paid)). Well, maybe you have already had border runs, and there is a risk that Thailand will refuse another stamp.
