only 5 hours for a walk, please advise a cool park so that you can then easily get to the subway and to the airport in time in Bangkok?

There are only two classrooms near the metro, Benchakitti (Queen Sirikit) next to the Queen Sirikit Convention Center metro station (although you can walk from Sukhumvit/Asok station) and Lumphini next to si Lom/ BTS Sala Daeng subway. They are also connected by a green path (from benchakitti it goes along the north side), but it does not reach Lumphini 100 meters, walk along the street to the entrance. You can go for a walk in both. In fact, even in three, tk benchakitti is two-zone: an old park around a long pond and a new forest area. From the airport it is definitely easier in benchakitti: by ARL to Makkasan ~25 min, change to MRT and two stations to Queen Sirikit Center In Benchakitti, drinks are sold at the north-eastern entrance, there are no sellers in the park itself. In Lumpini there are areas where there is trade, even there is food. There is also a green walkway connecting the parks.
