Tell me, when departing from Pattaya, you must first check in and drop off your luggage and after passport control, but check-in does not start directly super in advance. Does it make sense to come in advance or is there not much sense?

There is a lot of sense of course. Long before the start of check-in 1-2 -3 hours, sometimes even before the start of check-in, on the general scoreboard you can see at which counters the check-in of your flight will be. Either this information is visible on the scoreboard above the specific racks. I stand and wait for this information on the scoreboard. As soon as she appears I run to this rack and take the queue one of the first. Sometimes two hours or more pass and only then the registration begins. I usually always do this so as not to miss the flight in case of force majeure. Since I got so caught up once and was very nervous, I barely flew out. Perhaps in your case it will be somehow different, I have always had it that way. Accordingly, if you were one of the first to register, then there is more time for passport control. And at the airport they put terminals for self-check-in, but I have not yet used them, I do not understand how to check in luggage yet.

The difference is in which part of the queue you will find yourself at check-in, if not a business, the faster you drop off your luggage, the faster you will go further to control.
