I got by bus about 13 hours We left at 18.40 from about Bangkok, at 7.30 we were already in Phuket The trip is hard, in general you can sleep in the bus, but you will not get enough sleep) Also in the bus it is cold, the air conditioning works strongly, it is better to take warm clothes with you on such a trip At night at about 23 buses comes to some station and there is food.

A few years ago I was driving like this with a transfer in Hua Hin. But perhaps on this route there are still night slipbassy (bus reserved seat)
