For a week at most. It is better to swim directly to Koh Lan, if you want to swim, in Ptt mud.

Koh Samet, 3 hours from Bkk, and beaches, and restaurants, and cruises to neighboring islands for 600 baht. Ptt hole and puddle nearby.
