I did not take the child to the border, I sat at home. Now I went to Cambodia for a Thai visa. At the border of Thailand, nothing was even asked about the child. They put a stamp that up to 15 years follows my mother, a visa is not needed. We haven't entered Tai yet, we are waiting for a visa in Cambodia, but the Thais said that everything will be fine at the border.

No, there is no penalty for children. But whether the school will be able to make documents for the educational to someone who is in the country illegally is a big question. Ask better directly at the school, they will tell you more accurately.
