If you leave the airport in Bangkok, it does not matter in which communication salon, but at Bangkok airport a SIM card will cost 3 times more expensive than in the city.

It doesn't matter at all! Everything catches so that I distribute the Internet on the laptop and work through zoom (I am a speech therapist. I broadcast myself + re-readings, videos, games). But it is more convenient to pay for tru - in any 7/11. I have ais - it is problematic to pay on islands like Changa (where there is no Themely market)
