Tell me, how are things with the order to Thailand from foreign Internet magicians, including Amazon and just some brands? Do I have to pay fees?

I ordered with asos things. There was something like 5,000-7,000 baht of junk. Delivery through Australia. Australian shipping received my order and billed something like 1/3 of the order value or slightly more. I say, why? Tell me how the duty is calculated? They are as follows: we ourselves do not know, you order and already this order is charged, we cannot tell in advance how to calculate the Thai duty. Well, they sent me back and I went to h&m.
