Basket is not required) take with you to eat fruit, how much you eat- it is not prohibited. Only durian is banned.

I generally carry fruit without a basket in my hand luggage - since I don't need the basket myself. But in it, the fruits just breathe". I just put it in an open bag without a package and that's it."
