It's normal to live on Koh Samui, everything is somehow easier here, but there's nothing to do from the word at all.

If there is a budget and attachment to some level of service, then proceed from this. It is not right to listen to the opinions of others at all. Many people love Phuket, others Koh Samui. Over the past 4 months, I have met people "ready to bite their throats" for Vietnam, Kuala Lumpur or Bali))) You won't get the truth anyway. But I will say this: now Phuket is very similar to Turkey: drinking groups in the courtyard of the hotel until midnight, screaming children nearby. On the street, half-naked men with beer at 11: 00 and next to their beautiful halves in swimsuits (also with beer). I just missed the winter of 2022.

Wrong, the waterfalls on Koh Samui are better, the beaches are better in Phuket and cleaner.

Phuket is better, although they say there are a lot of people there, but it's really cooler there, especially if you have only 18 days. And even more so if you arrive in Phuket.

Koh Samui is 1000 times better than Phuket. I'm from Koh Samui now in Phuket with my family. It will be a big mistake if you go to Phuket. All the time only on Koh Samui van love.

I would only stay in Phuket for 18 days at all. There is a lot to see, and 18 days is not enough)

Differs decently. If you consider it as a tourist, not for life.
