if you take the ferry to Donsak, sail there, will there be an opportunity to buy a ticket for Phuket np in Donsak itself, and immediately take the bus to Phuket within an hour? Or does the collection of passengers take place on Koh Samui itself?

It is unlikely that straight. There buses are waiting for passengers and immediately leave within 20 minutes.
