We live in Hanoi, we want to go to Bangkok for the winter holidays to get married (Russian and US citizens, not residents of Vietnam, so it is so difficult).

Call the Russian Consulate in Bangkok, why do you need lawyers. They won't help you with anything anyway.

If you get married in Thailand, it will not be considered legal outside of that country. Here, too, you have to get the paperwork through the consulate.
