About half way to Pattaya you pass, there are already normal beaches. And there's also mangroves, a gorgeous place Right below Bangkok is also good (but not to swim, but to walk on red bridges). Where the end of the subway crocodile farm. I would go there

Ko lan is the closest. But it's shallow and near Pattaya)))
