Alternatively, take the A1 bus to the Mo Chit bus station, which is the terminus of this route and buy a ticket to Pattaya.

There are sometimes shuttles directly from there to Pattaya, but it's not always, and so there are shuttles to Suvarnabhumi and from where there are always buses, you can also go out on the road and catch a bus at a stop that goes past Pattaya on Sukhumvit.
