Call any travel agency in Almaty and they'll give you an answer.

Kind. Yesterday we flew through Mumbai, a similar situation. They ran to get visas, in the end they didn't even ask. But you definitely need a return ticket from Bangkok, who did not have those who were not put on the flight.

I had a long layover in Delhi. And different ac. So there was an exit to the city. You need a visa, a pcr and another form printed from the website. The visa is done online. Call your ac and ask about visa. You have to! You may not need one. If it turns out that it is necessary - you can call me if I am not busy, I will briefly explain how and what I did. I flew three days ago. I am not a helper"

Check with your airline whether you will be checked through and whether your luggage will be transferred? Will you need to leave the clear zone? If not, you do not need to do anything. If for some reason you do, it's worth doing it electronically. It's done, through the embassy website in 1 day, costs about $26 with the bank's fee. You need a scan of your passport and a 5*5 cm digital and printed photo of your face.

We flew this route recently in September, we didn't get a visa, no one asked her, everything went well. The main thing in Almaty is to show a ticket to Bangkok, they will ask, you will be in international transit in Delhi.
