they will issue an affidavit in Pattaya to open an account, but I'm not sure that you will have time to sign up. There are a lot of people willing . Track the website of the Honorary Consulate . The consul comes to Pattaya almost every Sunday.

We opened an account in Pattaya recently, nothing from the consulate was needed, only a resident certificate was received in immigration, although insurance is imposed in the bank.
