Do they require a return ticket from Thailand if you come on AirAsia from Kuala Lumpur?

Just like in Suvarnabhumi. My husband and I flew together. They didn't ask me anything. Everyone asked him. Return ticket and accommodation reservation. That was 3 years ago. My son flew in like this a month ago from Kuala Lumpur, they didn't ask him anything.

Before boarding, they may ask to show, I can also do it on arrival.
