[Pattaya] A question for those who have issued a tourist visa to Pattaya. Issued a visa now. After staying there for 60 days, will I be able to extend it for another 30? Or was I immediately given 90 and it will no longer be possible to extend it? - Thailand

As far as I understood, a visa should be issued by tying it to tickets. Because otherwise the validity period of the visa will not be enough to extend, Roughly speaking, you will come to renew on January 10, and they will tell you that the visa is valid only until January 18 and will be able to extend it to you only for 8 days.

The validity period of the visa is the period during which you must enter Thailand, it has nothing to do with the duration of your stay.
