I think there is no difference because there will be a conversion of ruble-yuan-baht or bucks-yuan-baht what difference does it make to you (unless of course you put dollars on the card? in connection with the last fall of the ruble, it is probably more reliable with dollars), if you replenish with rubles, then you need an extra conversion IMHO.
