We want to fly to Thailand for the first time. My first choice is between Pattaya and Phuket. How is the sea? What do you recommend?

Private beach at Grand Florida in Pattaya, but the condo itself, despite the recent construction is already a little tired in my opinion. There are varans on the territory....

Swimming is definitely Phuket, Pattaya for urban entertainment.

Pattaya has a dirty sea and not a beautiful beach, I constantly come across information on the Internet that sewage is drained into the sea here. I have not been to Phuket, but judging by the photos, it is much more beautiful and cleaner there. To swim in Pattaya, they go to Koh Lan Island by ferry, which is about 40 baht per person, 40 minutes to swim.
