ATMs are almost everywhere - every 7/11 or FamilyMart has one, or even two. We recommend not to shove the card in ATMs located in popular tourist spots - regularly in the news reports about another caught a gang of carders. It's a resort island, what can you do? Cash withdrawal limits (per transaction): Krungsri Bank (yellow) - 30,000฿ Other banks - 20,000฿ You can only get Thai baht at an ATM. Other currencies are not dispensed by ATMs. If you need to withdraw more at a time, you need to go to a bank branch. In any more or less large shopping center there are branches of at least two banks.
