Anybody fly through Delhi to Phuket? Do you need a transit visa with a 3 hour layover and no luggage? I fly with different airlines.

Different airlines do not mean different bookings. Did you buy two tickets yourself or from the operator with a single booking?

If this is not one booking and you will be leaving the clean zone, then you need a visa. If you are immediately given boarding passes for all subsequent flights on boarding the first plane, you will remain in a clean zone, you do not need a visa.
