1. More expensive and faster - by plane. 2. Cheaper and slower - bus + ferry. 3. Find fellow travelers. Ferries leave from the pier in Donsak, which is about 284 km far from Phuket, i.e. 3-4 hours. Tickets are easiest to buy online, you can choose either ferry + bus or a bunch of other options. From Phuket, buses leave from Phuket Bus Terminal 2.
