As for paying by card, almost all large shopping centers have non-cash payment, as for souvenir shops and excursions, from what I saw, they accepted only cash and again, even if possible, Thailand is considered one of the countries with an increased group, in which most often there is a fraudulent write-off of money, I do not recommend paying with a card in small shops, even if they accept them and do not forget when you go, if you have a savings bank card, call the call center and say the dates of your stay on vacation, otherwise you will not be able to use your card anywhere.
