In store 7-11 refuse to accept KBank card say only credit, and debit is not. What to do

Local 7/11 debit cards are not accepted due to some features of Thai payment gateways (presumably), debit can go into a technical overdraft, and then it will be a headache for all of them. Technically, they work, but apparently there is a strict instruction for the staff - not to accept
