You have not heard about the ban on the export of fruits from Phuket? Like, it takes so long to get there that everything turns into compote and therefore banned. But I don't see it officially anywhere...

Carry in your hand luggage and say when you buy that on the plane. Unripe will be given while you are lucky to ripen.
