Do you have Russian citizenship? In Phuket, it will be extended without problems with a clean visa history. Covid is only stamped by immigration in the town.

Reflections on 7 days are impossible without additional input data. Perhaps, PERHAPS, these people did not come to the central immigration office and received an extension of 7 days. Not covid. A standard one for 7 days.
