I can buy a bike in the salon, but I have neither Thai rights nor a resident certificate To apply for a bike for myself do I need a resident certificate? And for insurance - Thai rights? Or I'm confusing everything and you can just come to the salon and pick up the bike.

Resident certificate or work permit is definitely needed for registration.
