Question on 1 and 5 days of stay at the hotel to receive tests.. say through booking it is not recommended to book a hotel. Who has any thoughts on how best to book a hotel? Directly?

Not entirely true. Booking confirmations from booking were not suitable. It was the hotel that needed confirmation of reservation and payment. You can search and book anywhere. And now, in general, the first consideration of the application is made by the hotel - so, probably, it does not matter at all where you booked. At least for the first hotel.

We booked in booking, wrote to them in person, they provided a pdf with the necessary confirmation.
