What sauce do Thais add to pad thai?

4 tbsp coconut sugar, 3 tbsp fish sauce, 3 tbsp tamarine sauce, 2 tbsp chili sauce . Ready is simpler, but for some reason not so tasty. I suspect that the coconut sugar in it was replaced by cane sugar.
