Quite. From the airport to Kata Noi 1000 baht, the same as up to Patong. Inside Patong 200 baht. To the shopping center Central Festival in 20 min. from Patong 500 baht. Tuk-tuks are full everywhere, but in some places, such as beaches, especially a lot.
