Bangkok may be there. Phuket is not about work. It's almost non-existent. The tourism industry has just begun to move away from Covid. Legally, in order to arrange you, you need to give a job to four Thais. In the best tourist years, all Russian guides were illegal in fact. Options: nails, cilia, haircuts - all this in the gray zone. Remote workers here are mainly shareholders and pensioners. So not an option, look in Bangkok.
