Which way from Bangkok is it better to go for a relaxing holiday? Towards Phuket and Koh Samui or towards Chang a or Pattaya.

I would choose Phuket and Koh Samui. Depends on your needs/desires/ and who you are flying with. In my opinion, there's not much to do in ptt) and the sea/beaches there are so... Koh Samui is considered a retired island, although for me it is one big love without a lot of people)
